The Chinese company named OnePlus is rising to fame with its releases. OnePlus 2 is just one of the products of the Chinese company which give tough competition to a giant like Samsung. Samsung Galaxy S7, currently talk of the town, provides premium quality build and better technology, which cannot be refuted.
So, will OnePlus 2 take on Samsung Galaxy S7? And what do they have in common?
Design and Build
OnePlus 2 dubbed as “Flagship Killer” provides a quality smartphone at a low price. The device has a solid metal frame and slender design. Meanwhile, the Samsung Galaxy S7 moved away from the plastic casing and introduced a solid metal frame and glass on the front and back. OnePlus 2 is powered by Qualcomm 64-bit Snapdragon 810 octa-core processor clocked at 1.56 GHz and 1.82 GHz, paired with 4 GB of DDR4 RAM. The device also offers a non-expandable storage option.
Samsung Galaxy S7 has their own Exynos 8890 octa-core processor or Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 quad-core processor depending on where you are located. The processor is coupled with 4 GB of DDR4 RAM and provides either 32 GB or 64 GB model along with expandable storage option with microSD card (up to 200 GB).
A 13-MP sensor is included in OnePlus 2 offering features like laser autofocus, a dual-tone LED flash, a f/2.0 aperture and OIS. A 5-MP sensor is placed on the front panel o the device that has an aperture of f/2.4.
Samsung Galaxy S7 uses Dual Pixel 12 MP camera with a large sensor. The device also sees improvements in the aperture to f/1.7, increased the speed of autofocus and kept the auto HDR and OIS. A 5MP FFC with Live HDR, the large f/1.7 aperture and 22mm wide-angle lens for selfies are included on the front panel of the handset , cites GSM Arena.
OnePlus 2 is packed with nonremovable battery size of 3300 mAh but it lacks quick charge or wireless charging features. Galaxy S7 also has non-removable of 3000mAh and infused with rapid charge and quick wireless charging features.
Samsung Galaxy S7 is definitely a winner as it outclasses in all areas, but with mid-range price OnePlus, 2 offers good specs and features. Customers who can shell out some more money can go for Galaxy S7, if not OnePlus 2 would be the right one for you.
