One Direction members Harry Styles and Liam Payne are going to carve their names in the music industry. However, there has been a debate on who will be more successful.
Even though the group has not confirmed if the separation will be for good, rumors about it have been on for quite a while. The first one to confirm his solo career was Styles.
The 22-year-old English singer is probably the most loved member of the group. That may be the reason why loyal 1D fans are very supportive of his solo singing and acting stint.
A previous report revealed months ago that he is attending vocal lessons to improve his singing. Then, he landed his first acting career in the upcoming war film Dunkirk.
On the other hand, Payne just signed a solo contract. It might be a coincidence that he did it on One Direction’s 6th anniversary on July 24.
As a result, Bustle claims that the British group is now down to two. To make it worse, other media outlets accused him of snubbing their group’s special day.
Aside from Styles, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan also posted their greetings online. Payne sharing nothing on Twitter gave Hollywood Life some hints that there might be a feud.
However, it looks like the rumors were shut when Payne greeted and thanked the fans for their support via social media. The aspiring songwriter posted his message later that day.
Very late to the party but wow six years of us!! still so many more to come I've never been part of something so amazing

Moreover, stating that supporters should expect many years to come may convey a hidden message that One Direction is really just taking a big break. It must be an ultimate temporary vacation and a chance to improve themselves as individuals as well.
Notably, fans were shocked when Zayn Malik decided to quit the band on March 25 last year. The fear among their fans became stronger when they announced their indefinite hiatus during their On The Road tour.
One Direction’s Harry Styles and Liam Payne now have the opportunity to explore their creative sides as solo artists. Who do you think will be more successful? Let us know in the comments below.
