“NCIS” Season 14 fans should expect big changes for the coming new season. One big aspect they could anticipate is the new makeup of the team.
According to Examiner, the new season of “NCIS” will lose one of the big four members, Gibbs, Tony, Abby and Ducky, who have been around since the first season.
Tony’s big revelation on leaving the show has shocked fans during the Season 13 finale. It is considered a remarkable event that happened in “NCIS.”
The event where he gives the torch to Very Special Agent Timothy McGee and tells Bishop about being a good agent one day then brings his belongings with him while leaving “NCIS” saddened everyone, Examiner confirms.
Spoiler reveals the possibility of having a new team after losing Very Special Agent Tony DiNozzio. The report says that there will be new characters in Season 14.
“NCIS” Season 14 welcomes FBI Agent Tess Monroe (Sarah Clarke) and MI-6 Agent Clayton Reeves (Duane Henry). The two new characters are not sure if they will be joining the team.
Gary Glasberg, the showrunner, mentions that the team is uncertain on what they are going to do at the moment.
Examiner reports that Glasberg previously announced that he is “super-eager to reset, to move on and move forward … and get back to the lightness and the mystery that NCIS is known for.”
On the other hand, there is a bit of vagueness about Fornell’s next chapter. The same source mentions that he still needs time to recover though he is already awake after being critically shot.
Glasberg explains, “To actually see him have to work towards it, and the frustration of that, is exciting for us.”
Fornell’s recovery will be one of the top scenes the “NCIS” Season 14 fans should expect while waiting for further updates on what comes next for the new team.
“NCIS” Season 14 will air this fall every Tuesday at 8 pm in CBS.
