Fans might be treated with wedding bells in the upcoming NCIS Season 14, and very Special Agent Anthony DiNozzo may attend the ceremony.
The CBS long-running procedural series will return without one of its major character – DiNozzo. Since actor Michael Weatherly made his exit in he Season 13 finale, fans have been clamoring for him to come back or at least make a guest appearance in the show.
Now, there could be a chance that the charming agent will make a cameo in Season 14.
TVGuide reported that NCIS Agent Tim McGee (Sean Murray) will propose to girlfriend Delilah (Margo Harshman) this season. Remember that McGee bought an engagement ring for Delilah in Season 13, which Agent Bishop accidentally found out.
This means DiNozzo might drop by to attend his fellow agent’s wedding considering both McGee and Delilah are his friends. According to TV Guide, it is most likely the couple will tie the knot before the upcoming season ends.
Will Delilah get pregnant in NCIS Season 14, too?
Show newcomer Wilmer Valderrama earlier teased that someone will be having a baby in Season 14.
Aside from a wedding, McGee will be promoted to a senior agent following DiNozzo’s departure. NCIS showrunner Gary Glasberg has revealed: “He has taken over that mantle. And with that comes tremendous responsibility.”

Moreover, Glasberg said Gibbs will continue to look for someone who will occupy DiNozzo’s empty desk. In episode one alone, Gibbs will send eight agents home. Then, NCIS Special Agent Alex Quinn, an instructor at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center, will arrive. She will slam Gibbs for being too picky of DiNozzo’s replacement. Actress Jennifer Esposito will be playing the role of Agent Alex.
Aside from Esposito and Valderrama, who will play Agent Nick Torres, one more agent will be joining the NCIS team to fill the void DiNozzo left. MI6 Officer Clayton Reeves (Duane Henry) will come back starting in episode 5. The British agent was first introduced in the Season 13 finale.
