There are NBA rumours circulating behind the possible trade-off between players Jimmy Butler of the Chicago Bulls and NBA draft pick of the LA Lakers.

General manager Mitch Kupchak of the Los Angeles Lakers reportedly told Basketball Insider that they are welcoming the possibility of swapping players. They are planning to trade their first round pick in the draft for someone who has a proven track record on the court.

According to Kupchak, getting a top-three pick gives you not only the top-three basketball players in the world but it also gives the potential to move the pick.

The team is also rumoured to only have enough salary limits to bring in two maximum-salaried players. This would mean that in addition to Chicago Bulls Jimmy Butler, they can still choose to add one more basketball star into their team.

Their recent inability to get into the playoff could prompt Chicago Bulls to think about changing their team players. They may replace their experienced players for the fresher ones, speculations say. Joakim Noah and Pau Gasol are also speculated to play for another team in the next regular season.

The possible exchange of players between the LA Lakers and the Chicago Bulls will involve Cameron Bairstow and Jimmy Butler of the Bulls for the 2016 Lakers first-round pick and D’Angelo Russell. That is if the team will have the top 3 picks in the draft pick on May 19.

Exchanging Russell is a tough decision for the team but if it means they will get Jimmy Butler, it could seem fair for both teams. Butler may not completely replace Kobe Bryant but he has shown enough to put him among the most promising NBA stars.

Sportsrageous says that the Lakers will still have other choices from free agents expected to play for another team next season. These are Hassan Whiteside, Kevin Durant and DeMar DeRozan.

These NBA rumours may or may not be true and it all remains to be seen in near future.
