The Portland Trail Blazers will host the Golden State Warriors in their NBA campaign at the Moda Center on Friday, Feb. 19, starting 10:30 PM ET.

Portland will be looking to end Warriors’ 11-game winning streak in the Friday night’s clash. After a historic start in the NBA this season, the Warriors continue to mesmerise. They are surely oping to break the Chicago Bulls’ league record of 72 wins. The Warriors have already extended their record to 48-4 which keeps them in reach for the dream record.

Steph Curry has been exceptional with his form along with Klay Thompson. Curry was also impressive in the NBA All-Star game last Sunday which saw the West thump the East with a 196-173 victory at the Air Canada Center in Toronto. Curry scored 26-points in the match.

“It’s such a high stress environment everywhere we go and we play every regular season game, so to be able to just enjoy the entire night is something you want to be able to take in,” Curry said.

Leading the charge for the Warriors will be Damian Lillard. As per the official NBA reports, Portland acquired Brian Roberts from Miami to serve as Lillard’s backup. They also acquired Anderson Varejao from Cleveland but soon “waived the veteran center”, notes the source.

As per the ESPN reports the Warriors remained at Thursday’s trade deadline.

The Blazers have been pretty good with their defence. The NBA quotes, “he Blazers have held their last eight opponents to 96.8 points per game and 43.4 percent shooting, the second and fourth-lowest marks in the league over that span. They’ve limited teams to 28.1 percent from 3-point range during their present three-game win streak.”

“We just embraced the challenge,” Lillard said. “You’ve got to give credit to all the work we put in.”
