Moviegoers and film enthusiasts are counting down the days before MTV Movie Awards 2016 airs on April 10. According to the latest rumor, “Captain America: Civil War” star, Chris Evans will be attending the event to present an award.

Selected scenes from Marvel’s upcoming film has been nominated for categories like Hulk vs. Iron Man brawl as “Best Fight”, the Avengers as “Best Ensemble” and Evans and his role as Steve Rogers/ Captain America as “Best Hero.” Screen Rant did not confirm whether he is to present an award but they wrote that the star will formally unveil a new “Civil War” exclusive sneak peek instead.

The new teaser reportedly contains a “rad fight scene” between Captain America, Iron Man and Bucky, The Winter Soldier. Moreover, the site stated that it will be his co-star Chris Hemsworth, who plays as “Thor” is sure to present an award.

MTV Movie Awards 2016 will be hosted by Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Kevin Hart. Aside from Hemsworth, actors Charlize Theron, Jessica Chastain, Seth Rogen, Zac Efron, Olivia Munn and Gigi Hadid are the confirmed award presenters.

Meanwhile, Variety reported that there will be a pre-taped live-style happening the day before the big event.  It will be shot on the Warner Bros. back lot and on different locations.

“We want to do a big, brave thing to celebrate movies. We love Kevin and Dwayne for doing big, risky, bold things,” the show’s executive producer Casey Patterson said.

“Most award shows play it safe. They’re the right guys to take big swings,” he added. MTV Movie Awards will be aired this Sunday, April 10 at 8pm.

On the other hand, “Captain America: Civil War” continues to make headlines as Marvel avid fans count few more weeks before its official release. It has been reported in the past that the movie will reveal two sides: Team Captain America and Team Iron Man.

“Captain America: Civil War” premieres on May 6, 2016.
