The Moto Z is just 5.2mm thin and sports a 5.5-inch Quad HD AMOLED display. The ultra-light, Moto Z is powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 820 processor. The Moto Z specs also include a massive 4GB of RAM. The smartphone will come with 32 GB or 64 GB of internal storage capacity. The internal memory can be expanded up to 2TB via dedicated microSD card slot.

The smartphone will come packed with the fastest TurboPower charging capability which helps the device to stay alive for 30 hours, claims Motorola. “You’ll get up to 8 hours of power in just 15 minutes with TurboPower when you finally need a boost,” added Motorola in a blog post.

In the camera department, there will be a 13-megapixel main camera sensor with OIS (optical image stabilization) and laser autofocus. The front-facing selfie camera is equipped with a 5MP sensor.

Starting in September, the Lenovo Moto Z will be available worldwide along with the latest Moto Mods. The unlocked variant of the smartphone can be purchased from and at various retailers from this fall. With the help of Moto Mods, users will be able to customize their Moto Z.

The DROID Editions of both Moto Z and Moto Z Force will be available in the U.S. and will be exclusive to Verizon. Online retailer Best Buy will also offer the Moto Z DROID family handsets.
