A Moto X 2016 rumours recent leak confirms the details about the speculated all-metal design on the phone.
The leak comes from one of the most credible tipsters, Evan Blass. His tweet read, “Who woulda thunk it? Turns out this is 100 percent real” with the leaked image of the device in all of its metal glory. Fans may recollect that towards the end of last year CnBeta has unearthed images of what was supposedly the Moto X 2016. The snap shared by Blass is the same as the one shared by the site complete with a large camera arrangement and what appear to be speakers at the bottom. The image shows the rear panel of the device revealing that this flagship has undergone a complete design overhaul.

Earlier reports have indicated that the flagship may house Snapdragon 820 chipset. In December last year, TechWeb also unearthed a leaked image of what is allegedly the Moto X 2016. It shows off the internals with a thin metal pipe. This led to many questions about why the flagship would require a coolant. However, no concrete details have surfaced since about this one so take this with a pinch of scepticism for now.
The other ever-prevalent question is when would the device be introduced to the world? Motorola has already announced a May 17 event to be held in two countries, namely, India and Mexico. However, it is being widely accepted that the D-day would witness the launch of the Moto G4. Lenovo CEO Yang Yuanqing had recently revealed that an event will be held in June for the launch of an “exciting” product. Chances are that the Moto X 2016 will be introduced around that time given that its predecessors have been known to often arrive in the month of July.
