Contestants from around the country will be walking the runway for the Miss USA 2016 crown. The show will be held at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, where almost 52 girls representing each state would take to the ramp in custom-made gowns and swimwear. They would show off their hard-earned physiques and answer interview questions in a manner that would display their educated opinion, both in terms of clarity and wit.
“Grease: Live!” actor Julianne Hough would be co-hosting the 65Th Annual Miss USA competition. Along with Hough, Terrence Jackson will be hosting the show, with the help of Sports Illustrated model Ashley Graham backstage.
The Beauty queens will be judged by Executive Director of Harper’s Bazaar Laura Brown, Miss USA 1996 and Doritos commercial star Ali Landry, Yahoo Style Editor-in-Chief Joey Zee and Miss USA 2008 Crystal Stewart, notes Zap2it.
With host Ned Fulmer and Buzzfeed’s The Try Guys, the event will kick off on the red carpet and can be watched via live stream starting at 5.45 pm ET/PT at MissUniverse.com. FOX would air the Miss USA 2016 main competition live at 7PM ET/PT, announcing the Top 15 contestants.
Hollywoodlife.com and Miss Universe website are offering live streaming online, while the backstage live stream will be hosted by Miss USA 2014 Nia Sanchez. Once the winner is declared, it can be viewed on Miss USA’s Facebook page and on the pageant’s YouTube channel.
Miss USA 2016 will see performances of musical guests like the Backstreet Boys and Chris Young. Last year’s winner, Miss Oklahoma Olivia Jordan, would be handing the crown to this year’s winner. Jordan placed second runner-up during the 2015 Miss Universe pageant.
