Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain” publisher Konami announced that the title’s multiplayer mode, “Metal Gear Online,” has now been rolled-out for PC platforms.

The “Metal Gear Online” PC version is now available through Steam after a long Beta testing phase, as shared on the official Steam Community page.

Robert Peeler, Konami community manager, stated “The Beta has officially concluded and the game is now available for launch.”

He added, “We took in a lot of feedback and made a few key adjustments. After some initial hiccups we’re going forward guns at the ready.”

As noted by Digital Trends, Peeler confirmed that ardent gamers can expect added features to be coming in for “Metal Gear Online” PC version, much to the delight of avid players. Peeler has shared that the development will continue on the title in order to deliver new additions for the game.

“Just like the previously released console versions of MGO, we’ll be integrating new updates to the game to improve the experience and add content,” Peeler said. “Building the future and keeping MGO alive are one and the same thing.”

And that isn’t all, there is something more in store for fans. It turns out that gamers who get onboard the “Metal Gear Online” match from 19 January to 26 January will be entitled to receive 3,000 Gear Points. Avid gamers can then splurge on exceptional clothing.  They can also select between a myriad of color options, for their new character.

This definitely would amp up the excitement another notch, and give gamers a good head start. Players receive 50 points for a daily login, while they are given 100 points for logging in on Wednesdays.

Players can enjoy this “team-based third-person shooter” game involving weapons and building and strengthening Forward Operating Bases in order to do away with and tackle opponents. “Metal Gear Online” fans can keep coming back for more updates.
