The unseen pictures of late legendary actress Marilyn Monroe have been obtained, which clearly makes her alleged baby bump visible. Such photographs of the blonde actress have never been available to the public before.
A media outlet has claimed that the “secret” pregnancy was not the result of the marital bond of Marilyn Monroe and her third husband Arthur Miller. It was the alleged affair between the actress and actor Yves Montand that led to her pregnancy. The photographs show the baby bump of the entertainer. Reports have suggested that the affair between Monroe and Montand began while they were shooting for Let’s Make Love.
The photographs of Marilyn Monroe were clicked on July 8, 1960. The pictures reveal that the venue was outside Fox Studios in New York. It was reportedly the time when the actress was filming for The Misfits, co-starring Clark Gabe and Montgomery Clift. One of the pictures featured the actress giggling and looking off-camera. She is seen holding her hand to cover her face due to sunlight. In the picture, however, the actress’ baby bump is clearly visible.
Marilyn Monroe, who died on August 5, 1962, is found wearing a pink silk shirt with a tight-fitting pencil skirt and matching hue, which shows her apparent bump. When Montand’s wife Simone Signoret was once questioned about the alleged relationship between her husband and Monroe, she responded sportingly. “If Marilyn is in love with my husband it proves she has good taste, for I am in love with him too,” she said.
Marilyn Monroe Story in “Once-in-a-Lifetime” Auction
The Sun reported that the colored pictures of the baby bump of Marilyn Monroe were the prized possession of the actress’ friend Frieda Hull. The photo slides were auctioned at Hull’s property worth $2911. The Marilyn Memorabilia Auction took place in Hollywood in November. Fifty-six-year-old Tony Michaels Julien’s Auctions organized the event in LA. Michael was a next door neighbor and close friend of Hull.
“Frieda was very proud of those slides and she was very proud to keep them a secret until the day she died. “But she told me the story behind them that Marilyn got pregnant by Yves Montand,” Michael said while referring to Hull’s death in 2014 at the age of 83. “It wasn’t a guess or a presumption; it was something she knew for sure, she was very close to Marilyn. As far as she was concerned Marilyn was pregnant in the summer of 1960 and the slides prove it.”
