The Razer press release for the ManO’War has provided some details about the new product. The ManO’War comes with a compact USB adapter which can be plugged into any computer and laptop without the worry of installing new drivers. It has a good range of 12 meters or 39 feet.  The headset will offer a 7.1 channel virtual surround sound as it is supported by Razer’s Razer Surround software engine. The headset will have 50mm Neodymium magnet driver to ensure top quality sounds and will give players a full 360-degree audio experience.

It is also in a closed-ear design to ensure noise isolation and leatherette cushion covers for the ear for that much-needed comfort. The headset also promises a long battery life when being used for gaming, watching or listening as it can last up to 14 hours before recharging.

It will also have a built-in unidirectional digital microphone that can be easily pulled out from the bottom of the headset, and it is also a top quality built mic that ensures better voice audio compared to traditional analog mics. An LED indicator will light up if the mic is muted.

The ManO’War will also have the Razer Chroma that provides countless possible color lightings for that added personality to the gaming headset. It can be customised to any color combination as it has around 16.8 million colors to choose from by accessing the Razer Synapse driver.

The Razer ManO’War will be available in North America on April 17 for $169.99 (AUD 222) and some time in May for the rest of the world. You can learn more about the ManO’War by heading to the official Razer site.
