Louis Tomlinson has finally unveiled the first picture of his six-day-old baby boy, Freddie Reign Tomlinson on Instagram and Twitter. “Meet my little lad, Freddie,” the 24-year-old captioned the black-and-white photo with his son.
In the picture, Tomlinson is seen cuddling the little baby against his bare, tattooed chest. He already has a moniker for his son and called him “Freddie Tommo” on Twitter, thus indicating has the bay will have his last name “Tomlinson.” The picture has received more than 1.5 million likes on Instagram in the last 21 hours and has been retweeted 440k times on Twitter.
The new dad was apparently overwhelmed by all the congratulatory messages from his fans and expressed it in a tweet. “Thank you so much for the all nice messages :),” he wrote.
On Jan. 23, the singer announced via Twitter that his son has been born. “I’m pleased to say my baby son was born yesterday 🙂 He is healthy and pretty amazing 🙂 I’m very happy!!,” Tomlinson wrote, thus ending months of speculations about his baby with Briana Jungwirth. Though the singer did not mention Jungwirth’s name anywhere, she also posted a picture of her baby on her Instagram account.
“1/21/16. Freddie Reign. Love of my life,” Jungwirth wrote on Instagram. The new mommy is seen cuddling her tiny bundle of joy in her arms and kissing him. She has also been posting the pictures of her baby bump throughout her pregnancy.

Meanwhile, Tomlinson’s former bandmate Zayn Malik has forgotten his rivalry with the new dad and favorited Malik’s picture on Instagram. During a recent interview with Capital FM’s Breakfast Show (via Perez Hilton), Tomlinson was asked why he made that gesture online. Malik said though he is not good friends with Tomlinson, he still wishes good for his and Jungwirth’s baby.
“Obviously I wish him the best of luck. His kid is cute as f*ck so obviously I favourited it,” Malik said.
