Little Mix has been thanking fans by kickstarting the “Get Weird” tour, which is ongoing. However, not everyone appreciates the all-girl quartet. The latest scoop about the event revealed that it got poor reviews from different critics online.
The Guardian had a thorough review of the current music that different artists have been making. And as readers would have noticed, they wrote that Little Mix “aren’t a pop band.”
Notably, they were first slammed by some viewers who witnessed their performance at the Brit Awards. It has been reported earlier that they were accused of lip-syncing.
More than that, the girls have been getting hatred and derogatory comments about their music and style. According to Seventeen, the gals have been criticized because of their “overly sexy” outfits.
However, Perrie Edwards slammed the critics, saying that they were not “overly sexy” and they are aiming for a combination of “sexy and cute” without being scandalous.
“I think we’ve got the right kind of balance. Some of us are 24,” as quoted from Mirror. “We wear what we feel comfortable in,” Edwards added.
“We aren’t going to be able to wear stuff like this for the rest of our life, and parade around in little dresses and stuff, but at the same time, we are just girls.”
Meanwhile, Seventeen also adds that Perrie, along with Jade Thirlwall, Jesy Nelson, and Leigh-Anne Pinnock are already in the 20’s so their outfits- which is composed of “glittery hot pants, leotards, and mini-skirts-” did not really matter and is the same of Taylor Swift and Ariana Grande when performing on stage.
