Throwing a knife at someone is serious. In some cases it might amount to attempted murder, not if it is a fight between brothers Chris and Liam Hemsworth.
Normally sibling rivalry is limited to fights, pranks and blame games. But not for hunky brothers Liam and Chris Hemsworth. The brothers once had a ‘Hunger Games’ kind of fight, when Liam threw a knife at Chris. Talk about taking things to another level!
During a recent appearance on the “The Graham Norton Show,” with Dwayne Johnson and Jeff Goldblum, the “Hunger Games” star admitted to having quite a few fights with elder brother Chris.
According to Perez Hilton, one particular day, the fight between the brothers got out of hand. “One day when I was about five we had a fight in the kitchen about using the toaster or something, and I picked up a kitchen knife and threw it at his head and the handle hit him in the forehead,” revealed Liam. “I could have hit him with the other end if I’d wanted to. It was just a warning shot!” he added.
“Our childhood rivalry was a bit vicious – a bit like ‘The Hunger Games.’ I never had any problems with Luke because he was so much older and I didn’t mess with him,” he said. “But with Chris, we were very like minded, very stubborn and would often get into arguments and because I was so much younger and smaller I had to use weapons to fight,” he added.
Sydney Morning Herald informs that this is not the first time that Liam Hemsworth has opened up about his relationship with his brothers. He had narrated the knife incident to Conan O’Brien in 2012. He also had revealed about being separated from Chris, so that their parents could enjoy a kids-free holiday.
“Me and my oldest brother Luke stayed at my grandma’s house, but Chris had to stay at my uncle’s house because we were too much trouble to be together,” he said.
Well, the boys have grown up, but they still do mess with each other. Check their Instagrams:
