A new set of photos and renderings has been leaked on the internet and if these things are to be believed, the iPhone 7 would have major changes in the design.
According to Japanese blog MacOtakara, the leaked photos and renderings could be “real thing” for the next iPhone handset.
The blog shows the images of Apple’s upcoming flagship smartphone, iPhone 7 having a dual camera while rendering of the handset bears the same design but with a single camera lens.
The image shows that the much-rumoured dual-camera setup is located on the left-hand side of the phone’s back; however, rumours regarding which technology will be used is still uncertain. Speculations claim that dual-camera technology could be in iPhone 7 Plus or in iPhone 7 Pro.
The remodelled design, as per the rumours, will have antenna bands on the edge of the device instead of placing it on the backplate like iPhone 6.
The most recent report stated that the bottom of the iPhone will have a new type of connectors. A three dotted port will be included on the rear dubbed as a Smart Connector, which was already seen in Apple’s iPad Pro. This feature was introduced in the tablet to connect it with Smart Keyboard made by Apple.
TechRadar notes adding a Smart Connector in an iPhone is not a very good move and it appears to be a “very strange feature for an iPhone to have.” However, having a Smart Connector in the iPhone would not only mean keyboard to be attached, there could be an entirely a different reason and the company is privy to it. Possibly a new accessory could be launched.
The renderings suggest that the device’s design is quite similar to the photos apart from the camera module which is configured for a single sensor rather than two. The image also shows the camera hole as much bigger than the one found on the iPhone 6.
