Fans were heartbroken when the news came out that Lady Gaga and Taylor Kinney called off their engagement and after the singer confirmed that they are taking some time apart.

Apparently, the reason that they split is because of their “complicated schedule,” according to Lady Gaga herself. She posted a photo of her and Kinney walking away. The actor shared the same photo on his Instagram account.

Last week, Lady Gaga was photographed without her engagement ring. The singer was also busy with her charitable work based on the photos she shared on Instagram. She performed at an orphanage in Mexico and the engagement ring was also missing at that time. As for Kinney, he celebrated his birthday on July 15 without Gaga on his side.

A source told E! News that the couple just wanted to keep mum of the break up but it was heartbreaking for both of them. The couple broke up after being together for five years. Kinney proposed to the American Horror Story star on February 16, 2015. The Chicago Fire actor gave her a heart-shaped diamond engagement ring and Gaga immediately said yes.

It will be hard for both Lady Gaga and Kinney to get over the break up. However, Gaga has been known for her resilience and if we will base it on the lyrics of her song, she will be ok soon.

Here are the lyrics from some of Lady Gaga’s songs, courtesy of E! News, that can prove she will get over Kinney in time.

Born This Way

Don’t hide yourself in regret / Just love yourself and you’re set / I’m on the right track, baby / I was born this way

I can’t believe what you said to me, last night we were alone / you threw your hands up / baby, you gave up, you gave up / I can’t believe how you looked at me with your James Dean-glossy eyes / with your tight jeans, and your long hair and your cigarette-stained lies

I want to just dance / but he took me home instead / uh-oh there was a monster in my bed / we French-kissed on a subway train / he tore my clothes right off / he ate my heart and then he ate my brain

Maybe we can see the world together / I don’t wanna be alone forever / But I can be tonight, tonight

Just a second / It’s my favorite song they’re gonna play / And I cannot text you with a drink in my hand, eh / You shoulda made some plans with me / You knew that I was free / And now you won’t stop calling me / I’m kinda busy
