Dr Luke has denied on social media that he raped Kesha. He also called the singer his “little sister.”
The music producer took to Twitter to deny Kesha’s claims that he drugged and raped her.
“I didn’t rape Kesha and I have never had sex with her. Kesha and I were friends for many years and she was like my little sister. Kesha has denied under oath the horrible allegations now being made against me,” he tweeted.

“Kesha and I made a lot of songs together and it was often good but there were creative differences at times. It’s sad that she would turn a contract negotiation into something so horrendous and untrue,” Dr Luke wrote. He added, “But I feel confident when this is over the lies will be exposed and the truth will prevail.”
People cited Kesha’s lawsuit wherein she alleged that Dr Luke “made repeated sexual advances toward her … would force her to use drugs and alcohol to remove her defenses.”
Kesha first accused Dr Luke of “sexually, physically, verbally, and emotionally [abusing her] to the point where [she] nearly lost her life” in a complaint filed in October 2014, Entertainment Weekly noted. In the said complaint, the singer asked that any contracts she had with Dr. Luke be voided so she could move on with her career without “interference or harassment from [him].”
Dr. Luke has also previously denied the “TiK ToK” singer claims through his lawyer Christine Lepera and countersued for defamation.
Meanwhile, fellow female artists such as Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga, Demi Lovato, Ariana Grande and Kelly Clarkson expressed support to Kesha following the denial of her request for the injunction. #FreeKesha began to trend on social media for several hours after the court junked the request.
