While the rest of the world has yet to recover from shock over recent news of Justin Bieber’s fistfight, Floyd “Money” Mayweather has nothing but praise for the Canadian singer.
Impressed by Bieber’s actions, the boxing champion commended his friend Justin Bieber as the fistfight showed the Canadian singer “ain’t no b*tch,” HollywoodLife reported.
“He’s ready. At the end of the day, people will say what they want to say. But Justin Bieber ain’t no b–tch. He showed he got heart; he ain’t no b–tch. It’s all respect,” the publication cited Mayweather’s response to TMZ. As it turns out, the “Sorry” singer has been training with the boxing champion for years. So, did his praise reflect the pride of a “coach”?
“I’ve been working with him in the gym,” Mayweather revealed. However, the reason behind the scuffle is unknown to him as well.
“I don’t know why Justin Bieber is out there fighting,” he also told TMZ. Justin Bieber figured in a fistfight in Cleveland on June 8 after game 3 of the NBA Finals. Initial speculation led many to think that trash talk between fans of rival teams led to the brawl, TMZ wrote in a separate post. Bieber is a recognized fan of the Cleveland Cavaliers. At the time of the incident, he was also wearing a shirt bearing the team’s name, the publication noted.
The unidentified fighter has surfaced as revealed in an update posted by TMZ about the Bieber fistfight. Cleveland native Lamont Richmond appeared to take credit for the brawl in a video, the publication wrote. More than that, he revealed the reason behind it.
“Fool ran up on me, I was with the girls, we just asked him for an autograph, I don’t know about all these other stuff you’re talking about. No, I got nothing else to say,” Lamont said in the video. Early on, the Canadian singer announced his decision to ban pictures with fans. Thus, could his latest predicament be another case of a Justin Bieber meltdown?
