Justin Bieber may be successful in bringing himself to the headlines once again after a buzz that he allegedly disses Kanye West by comparing himself to God.
He might often be misunderstood, but the Canadian singer needed to explain himself once again after pulling out a “Kanye West,” as what Hollywood Life defined. The Biebs’ latest black and white photo of him lying on his bed shirtless created a stir among fans as he captioned it with “and on the 7th day.”
Notably, he was making reference to the book of Genesis, chapter 2 verse 2, which states:
“Thus, the heavens and the earth were completed, and all their hosts/By the seventh day God completed His work which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had done/Then God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because, in it, He rested from all His work which God had created and made.”
JB elaborated the meaning of his caption after accusations that he is comparing himself to “The Most High.” Like for example, Elite Daily wrote that what Bieber is doing is “more than human, it’s literally godly.”
Would love to talk about this because it's another moment to point to God. When I said on the 7th day it was a reference to say that on the 7th day he rested giving us a template and example letting us know how important rest is. People love to twist what was meant for good and maybe it was my fault by not explaining my thought correctly. You can think the worst about me but never ever want people to think I compare myself to The MOST HIGH
And on the 7th day….. AND MY GOODNESS I WAS MAKING A REFERENCE, I AM NOT COMPARING MYSELF TO GOD IM THE FARTHEST THING FROM!!!! IT WAS MY WAY OF SAYING HOW IMPORTANT REST IS.. WHEN THERE IS NOTHING TO PICK AT ME FOR YOU MAKE SOMETHING OUT OF NOTHING BUT I GET IT YOU NEED RATINGS AND TRACTION YOUR BLOGS. But if truthfully if you were offended it was in no way shape or form me comparing myself to the most high.
While others ae not so keen to accept the statement, solid Beliebers extend their support to the 22-year-old singer. “I got what you meant. people are quick to judge and slow to try and understand,” says one of his social media followers.
Earlier this week, Justin Bieber has been roasted for his comment on Prince’ passing. The Canadian singer did not agree with former California Breed guitarist Andrew Watt’s statement that the late icon is “one of the last greatest living performers.”
Bieber had explained his side about comparing himself to God, but on the other hand, the issue about his comment about the late music icon is yet to be addressed. Fans and readers might also be waiting for Kanye West’s comment as well about the issue that JB allegedly copied his antics.
