Here is some good news! Jesse Eisenberg recently revealed that he will be part of the “Justice League.” However, to ensure continuity, will the movie feature a prison break scene?
“Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” saw super villain Lex Luthor, played by Jesse Eisenberg, getting locked up in jail. The last glimpses in the film saw him donning the orange suit and sporting a shaved head. To fit in the “Justice League,” Eisenberg will have to resort to prison break, it seems.
However, nothing has been confirmed by the makers so far and this could only be another round of speculations. Movie Web reveals that speculations about the filming of “Justice League Part 1” and “Justice League Part 2” were also flying around earlier. It was rumored that both movies would be shot at the same time.
But the rumors were squashed when Part 1 got a November 2017 release date and Part 2 a June 2019 one. However, one thing that might not be a rumor is Jesse Eisenberg joining the cast, states Cinema Blend. Eisenberg made an appearance at the MCM London Comic-Con where he made this announcement. The “Café Society” star elaborated that while production was already underway for the movie, he is still waiting for the call.
According to Digital Spy, the actor stayed away from revealing too much as he wasn’t sure about how much he could talk at the moment. “I’m kind of in wait. They just started filming ‘Justice League,’ so I’m kind of like waiting for my crack at it,” said Eisenberg.
“I don’t know what I’m allowed to say because I feel like there’s probably some drone following me from DC, and if I say anything wrong I get, you know, picked off. But yeah I think so, and I love it, and I love everybody who’s in it. You know, it’s a really talented group of people,” he added.
Eisenberg joins J.K. Simmons, Amy Adams and Willem Dafoe on the cast. Director Zack Snyder is said to return to direct the “Justice League” movie based on a script by Chris Terrio.
