DC surprised fans with the trailer for the Justice League movie earlier this week. It was one of the best things to come out of this year’s Comic Con in San Diego. However, did the studio include a major clue in the clip that everyone missed?

The teaser followed Batman as he tried to get “people with special abilities” to join the team he’s creating with Wonder Woman. He tried to recruit both Aquaman and the Flash to various degrees of success. Another Justice League member, Cyborg, also made an appearance in the trailer.

The studio later released the first official photo of the cast members. In spite of Superman’s death in a previous movie, the photo still featured him. Everything looked as awesome as the trailer. However, some eagle-eyed fans noticed that something was amiss.

As Digital Spy pointed out, director Zack Snyder last year released a Justice League teaser poster that didn’t seem to exactly go with this week’s trailer. The poster featured Aquaman and the words “Unite the Seven.”

Counting Superman, the Justice League on screen only has six members so far. Does this mean a secret seventh member exists in the coming movie? No word as of yet to confirm this. As the news site itself admitted that “Seven” could be referring to the Seven Seas, which is a part of Aquaman’s domain.

The Justice League movie stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill and Gal Gadot, who will all reprise their Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice roles for the movie. Former Game of Thrones star Jason Momoa, meanwhile, will take on the role of Aquaman. Ezra Miller and Ray Fisher will also join the cast as the Flash and Cyborg, respectively.

The first part of the Justice League movie will hit the big screen on November 17, 2017. The movie’s second half, on the other hand, won’t premiere until June 14, 2019. Gadot, Momoa and Miller will also get their very own standalone films soon.
