It will be an early Christmas for Nike fans.

The giant sport apparel company is set to launch Chris Paul’s Air Jordan 13 Retro CP3 PE on Saturday (Nov. 7).

According to Nike website, this Air Jordan 13 Retro edition features premium black leather and mesh uppers paired up with Orion Blue suede. It also has Sunstone yellow lines at the outsole and an embroidered “CP3” logo on the tongue.

This Jordan brand paid tribute to Chris Paul’s six years with the New Orleans Hornets, the franchise that originally drafted him into the NBA a decade ago.

Paul is currently playing for Los Angeles Clippers, alongside fellow Jordan Brand athlete Blake Griffin.

You can order the Jordan 13 Retro CP3 PE on Nike’s website or on selected Jordan Brand retailers for $200.

According to SneakerNews, there have been rumors that the home white edition of Jordan 13 Retro CP3 will also be available at a later date. Paul was recently spotted wearing the pair overseas in China for the NBA’s Global Games against his former team Charlotte Hornets.

Meanwhile, the Clippers point guard suffered from strained groin during their game against the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday.

Paul contributed 24 points and nine assists before he was relegated to the bench.

ESPN quoted Coach Doc Rivers as saying: “I don’t think it’s severe. It’s just too early in the season, so I took him out.”

Rivers was referring to Paul’s attempt to sneak back on the court before the coach had to drag him back to the bench.

LA Clippers lost in the game, 112-108, marking their first defeat of the season.

The Clippers don’t expect to be playing without Paul in the hard court for long. The All-Star point guard himself said he certainly plans to play in their next game on Saturday against the Houston Rockets, ESPN.
