This year’s Apple event is around the corner, but it seems more iPhone 7 leaks are making their way out even before its official debut. One of the recent reports on the new iPhone reveal more of its features.

Report on new information about the iPhone 7 and its higher-end counterpart, the iPhone 7 Plus, comes from Apple Insider. The source quotes KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. Kuo is well-known for revealing accurate information on upcoming Apple products. Forbes‘ Gordon Kelly even details that Kuo is often considered as “the best Apple analyst on the planet”.

iPhone 7 leaks and more information

1. Audio capabilities

As with the many rumors claimed, Kuo agrees that the iPhone 7 indeed removes the 3.5 millimeter headphone jack. Furthermore, the website relays that Lightning EarPods and an adapter will ship with the box.

2. Camera and its features

Though a dual camera setup was rumored numerous times in the past, Kuo’s information offers more detailed information. Apple Insider relays that the dual setup features two 12-megapixel cameras. From the two, one serves as wide angle while the other is telephoto.

Aside from the dual camera setup, another information that Kuo shares pertain to the new quality of the cameras in the new iPhone line. The website relays that instead of two, the new handsets feature four LEDs flash.

3. Color

For the new iPhone’s physical appearance, Kuo shares that more black options are in focus. Aside from the previously rumored dark black color, a “piano back” is also an option.

4. Display

Apple Insider relays the following information regarding the new iPhone’s display:

“Kuo also said the “iPhone 7″ will feature the same True Tone-branded display technology the company unveiled earlier this year on the 9.7-inch iPad Pro.”

5. Storage capacity

Finally, Kuo reiterates rumors saying that the iPhone 7 line will feature higher storage capacities. Namely, these are at 32, 128, and 256 gigabytes.
