IFA 2016 potential highlights and rumors

Ubergizmo has a comprehensive list on what to expect from IFA 2016. In line with this, we relay some of the items on their list. We also collate it with other sources.

1. Sony

The company is one of the more known names in the event. In addition, the rumored devices they will launch at the IFA add to the buzz. According to Ubergizmo, the PlayStation VR, smart TVs and even a potential smartphone makes the company’s lineup at the event.

Although the new smartphone isn’t confirmed yet, Ubergizmo details that this was uncovered in benchmarks. The potential device also sports some higher-end specs including a 21-megapixel main camera and 5.1 inch full HD display.

2. Huawei

Another big name gracing the IFA is Chinese manufacturer Huawei. 9 to 5 Google recently reported on the rumored devices the company will launch and the list is pretty massive. The source relays information from well-known leakster Evan Blass. According to Blass, a Huawei Nova and Nova Plus, as well as a MediaPad M3 could all come out at the IFA.

Still, despite Blass’ proven reliability in the past, it’s still best to take this with a grain of salt.
