Home and Away 2016 has not especially been kind to Evie. Two members of her family died in the freak caravan accident. Her boyfriend meanwhile broke up with her and took off. Things already look bad enough for Evie. However, will things go from bad to worse for the teenager? Can she further spiral out of control in the next few episodes?

Instead of dealing with her troubles head on, Evie will choose to continue partying heavily. Her friends will worry about her and try to help. Matt and Mason will both attempt to get her to open up about everything. But Evie will only clam up. She will even kiss Mason in order to get out of discussing her feelings.

Or at least, this is what will happen next week if Digital Spy’s report on the subject proves correct.

Meanwhile, actress Philippa Northeast defended her character’s behavior in recent episodes. “It’s about numbing the pain away,” the soap star explained. “Evie isn’t ready to talk. She’s not ready to do the deep and meaningful thing.”

How long will this phase in Evie’s life last? Will all the partying take a toll on the troubled teen? Can anyone ever get through to her? Can she ever recover from the trauma this year’s major events caused? Will she be able to stop before it’s too late? Viewers might have to tune into next week’s episodes to find out for sure.
