After the February list of free games and Xbox One deals comes another good news for gaming fans. Square Enix has made “Hitman Go: Definitive Edition”available on PS4, PS Vita, as well as PC. The game is scheduled to hit the consoles on February 23.
The Steam Powdered store describes Hitman GO as a “simple to play, but difficult to master turn-based strategy game set in a stunning interpretation of the Hitman universe.” The game will have you strategically navigate fixed spaces on a grid to avoid enemies and take out your target or infiltrate well-guarded locations.
Its an “award-winning, beautifully rendered diorama-style turn-based strategy game focuses on forward thinking to progress through challenging levels and stylish freeze frame environments, to challenge even the most accomplished Hitman fan,” notes the source.
The most interesting feature of the game is the Cross Buy. According to Playstation Blog, PlayStation versions support Cross-Buy, which means “purchasing it on one platform unlocks it for free on the other.”
As per the Gamespot reports these versions will support cross-saves.
However, the pricing details are yet to be specified.
“It’s basically the good old Hitman GO you loved on mobile, with updated visuals and all the great content we added on to it including my personal favorites, the Paris Opera from Blood Money, and the St. Petersburg Stakeout mission from Hitman 2: Silent Assassin,” said Nicolas Verge, community manager at Square Enix Montreal.
According to sources, the PC players will also be able to use “Steamworks integration on Valve’s platform”. It will unlock trading cards, emojis, wallpapers, cloud saves, and steam achievements.
The main Hitman game arrives on PS4, Xbox One, and PC in March. It was originally slated to release last year.
If players are able to complete everything in Hitman GO without using any hints, they will unlock a new Platinum Trophy.
