Hillary Clinton has been diagnosed with pneumonia on Friday, reveals her personal doctor. Apparently, the presidential candidate has been experiencing prolonged cough related to allergies and has been treated with antibiotics.

Dr. Lisa Bardack says that Hillary Clinton got overheated and dehydrated during a 9/11 memorial event. However, she has been rehydrated and recovering nicely.

In a statement, Clinton’s campaign adds: “for just an hour and thirty minutes this morning to pay her respects and greet some of the families of the fallen. During the ceremony, she felt overheated so departed to go to her daughter’s apartment, and is feeling much better.”

The National Weather Service reveals that the conditions in New York City during the event were partly cloudy with an air temperature of 79 degrees Fahrenheit and a heat index of 82 degrees.

According to some, this proves that Clinton is physically unfit to become the next leader of the US. They also cited some health problems Clinton has experienced before.

ABC news reports that Clinton had hypothyroidism and suffered from seasonal pollen allergies. Clinton also suffered from an elbow fracture in 2009.

The presidential hopeful also got treated for deep vein thrombosis in 1998 and in 2009. Bardack adds that Clinton has been treated with anti-coagulants and have been undergoing follow-up tests to treat the clot.

Despite being tested negative for all clotting disorders, physicians decided that Clinton should still continue to adhere to her daily regimen of anti-coagulants as a precaution.

The incident at the memorial event encouraged Clinton’s critics to point out that her poor health would make her a bad leader and as Trump said, unfit to take on ISIS. Still, Clinton campaign argues that these claims are merely deranged conspiracy theories.

Moreover, her personal doctor asserts: “She is in excellent physical condition and fit to serve as President of the United States.”
