Kids’ favorite channel Nickelodeon has recently confirmed to revive the ’90s cartoon “Hey Arnold!” This time, the adventures of the fourth-grader with the football-shaped head will be seen on the big screen.

Viacom, the company who owns the cable channel, told Variety that they’re working on a new movie based on the TV cartoon show, “Hey Arnold!” The animated series was last seen on Nickelodeon in 2004. Despite the confirmation of the movie, the executives refused to mention the specific release date.

The site mentioned that the new movie will pick up where the ’90s series ended. It will also try to resolve the missing plot lines of the animated series including the whereabouts of Arnold’s parents.

According to the President for content development and production of Nickelodeon, Russel Hicks, they recognise the past Nick shows such as “Hey Arnold!” to create “family viewing opportunities.”

“Kids who grew up on these characters are now of the age that they are having kids and families themselves. Our library has come to fruition and it’s time for it to start coming back to life,” Hicks said.

But will Arnold still be voiced over by the same actor?

Well, the last episode aired more than 10 years ago. Have you ever wondered how he looks like now? Or, do you even know who gave voice to Arnold on the show?

Buzzfeed mentioned that the actor who voiced Arnold’s character is “insanely good-looking now.” His name is Lane Toran who voiced Arnold’s character for the first 41 episodes of the animated series.

Yes, that’s him! Isn’t he hot and gorgeous?

As mentioned on IMDb, Lane is an actor and composer. Aside from “Hey Arnold!,” he was also a voice actor in Nickelodeon shows such as “Rocket Power” and in Disney show “Recess.” This year, he appeared on TV shows “Nashville” and “Satisfaction.”

Will he be interested to take part on the “Hey Arnold!” movie? We do hope Nickelodeon’s got a role for him!
