Fans can expect the unexpected from Guns N’ Roses 2016 as Slash surprised kid rockers with an epic jam.

The GNR guitarist looked to have some time on his hands in between their gigs, as Slash dropped by the rehearsals for the School of Rock. He jammed two classic hits by their hard rock band with the amazing young band of the Broadway musical. Suffice it to say, the outcome was epic. Despite their youth, their performance impressed the veteran guitarist.

The young band did not expect his arrival at their practice. Indeed, their vocalist Bobbi MacKenzie who plays the role of Tomika only realized his presence when they wrapped Sweet Child O’ Mine. However, their guitarist Brandon Niederauer managed to take control of his awe at seeing Slash and played alongside him beautifully. Their next GNR song Paradise City also rocked the house. Slash posed with the young band and praised their great talent at such a young age.

“It was really cool to meet such an enthusiastic and talented bunch of young rock ‘n’ rollers. They were great kids as well as players,” Slash said. Guns N’ Roses 2016 promised to bring back together the hard rock band. Thus, fans would see their favorites Axl Rose, Duff McKagan and Slash on stage once again for a smashing performance. Prior to the reunion, frontman Axl Rose gave his vocal chords a warm up during his temporary stint with AC/DC. His bandmate Duff McKagan spoke well of his performance with the Australian rock band and called it magical.

Yet his time with AC/DC led to rumors that the Guns N’ Roses 2016 reunion would not take place. Thus, the unexpected news that it would push through surprised even the band members. Slash revealed his delight that everyone is getting along well with one another. The band had their first performance last June 23 in Detroit, Michigan. The North America play dates for their Not in This Lifetime Tour end in August. The Guns N’ Roses 2016 tour resumes in South America starting October, according to Rolling Stone.
