“Guardians of the Galaxy” will not be released until 2017 but the news about the Marvel’s highly anticipated films have been overflowing on the Internet. Director James Gunn continues to tease the fans for allegedly hinting that there will a crossover between his movie and “Avengers 3.”

The acclaimed director had a Twitter Question and Answer recently when a fan asked why the “Guardians” did not appear on “Captain America: Civil War”, as per Metro report. Gunn gave a bold answer by saying “Because they’re currently in a different galaxy.”

The website examined his statement, claiming that there could be a crossover between the “Avengers” and the “Guardians” when “Avengers: Infinity War” arrives on big screens in May 2018.

According to the online publication, the Infinity Stones have been significant to the movies surrounding the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which include both franchises. More than that, it is also possible because of the fact the Thanos and The Collector have appeared in the post-credit scenes of “Avengers” and “Thor” movie installments.

They also claimed that it is not impossible as per “Avengers: Infinity War” Part 1 director Joe Russo reportedly said that “they have 67 Marvel heroes to work with” on the movie,” so likely four of them will be the “Guardians of The Galaxy 2” characters if they will survive the second film.

On the other hand, it was reported that director James Gunn allegedly revealed a big secret about Star Lord’s real father. The director dropped the hint by unveiling another storyboard with a caption that says ““My Mom always said that my Dad was from the stars.”

“I don’t think you’ll ever guess what this one is, at least not until the film comes out (but I know that won’t stop you from trying),” according to his Facebook post.

“Guardians of the Galaxy 2” kicks off in the U.S. cinemas on May 5, 2017.
