Ardent gamers who can’t get enough of GTA 5 are in for a treat this festive season, with Rockstar reportedly releasing Christmas DLC and Lowrider DLC sooner rather than later.

Rumors are rife that the Christmas DLC and Lowrider DLC will be released days before Christmas, as per report on CrossMap.

According to a report on Express, GTA Online fans can expect new customizable cars at Benny’s Original Motor Works. Now after the  new Lowrider update for Xbox One, PS4 and PC, avid gamers may be introduced to new clothing and 5 new cars in the upcoming update. Although, there has been no official word about the new content that the next update will bring, it is being believed that the new cars will definitely be a part of the roll-out.

Rockstar has shared a guide for the ardent gamers to ensure that they enjoy the latest Adversary Modes to the maximum. The  new Adversary Modes include Offense Defense, Cross the Line and Hunting Pack.

While gamers will be dabbling in all the fun, it is noteworthy that the sequel for GTA online may take longer than what fans anticipated, according to Express. This may probably make fans wonder why isn’t GTA rolled out annually, much like other fan-favorite franchises such as “Call of Duty” and “Assassin’s Creed.”

Commenting on why the title is not annualized, Take-Two (Rockstar’s parent company) CEO Strauss Zelnick said, “The market asks us, ‘Why don’t you annualize your titles?’ We think with the non-sports titles, we are better served to create anticipation and demand.

“On the one hand to rest the title and on the other hand to have the highest quality in the market, which takes time. You can’t do that annually.”

“What we would like to do is be able to have enough hit intellectual properties in any given year, whether we have Title A or Title B, is not the issue.”

GTA fans can keep coming back for more updates on the upcoming additions to the title.
