Players of “Grand Theft Auto 5” will enjoy more updates of the game–with a theme in time for Thanksgiving celebration in the US.

Express reports that players of “GTA 5” will be able to showcase their American Football skills because of the new Running Back Adversary mode for “GTA Online”.

According to the report, the new mode can be played in the areas of La Mesa Bridge, Raton Canyon Bridge and Zancudo Tunnel.

In terms of the update’s official description, GameSpot quotes Rockstar Games in saying:

“Two teams (a total of 4-8 players) square off from opposing sides of a roadway. The elusive Runner, behind the wheel of a Benefactor Panto, must go the distance and get across the end zone line at the far end of the highway with the help of their offensive teammates in BF Biftas. Meanwhile, their defensive-minded opponents (also in Biftas) must ruthlessly block, crash and pummel their way to try to stop them.”

However, although the inclusion of the Running Back Adversary mode may be an enjoyable addition to “GTA Online”, its availability is limited to PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 (PS4) consoles only.

GameSpot reports that it is yet unclear whether Xbox 360 and PS3 consoles will see the same update in the near future.

Express also reports that new cars may be added to “GTA Online” which can be customized at Benny’s Original Motor Works.

Although unconfirmed by Rockstar, Express also reports that a potential DLC may come in December which will include five new rides and an array of new clothing.

It has also been previously reported that a “GTA” sequel may take longer to launch; hence, fans can expect DLCs to be the focus of Rockstar Games’ in terms of introducing new content to gamers.

It must be noted though that Rockstar Games is focusing on PC and new-generation consoles for “GTA Online”, GameSpot says, so players on Xbox 360 and PS3 may still be left out in upcoming DLCs.
