Rockstar Games is expected to release the sixth installment of the “Grand Theft Auto” franchise in 2018. The upcoming game is dubbed as “Grand Theft Auto 6”. Speculations indicate that details will be released at the upcoming E3 2016 event.

Rumors are spreading based on the release dates of previous installments. If “Grand Theft Auto 6” fails to be released in 2018, it may come sometime in 2020. The prediction is made considering the seven-year gap between Grand Theft Autos 3 and 4. The last installment was released in 2013.

Rockstar Games is reportedly working on its future projects, and these may be known at the upcoming E3. Apart from “Grand Theft Auto 6,” news about “Red Dead Redemption 2” is also being bandied about.

Speculations are rife that “Grand Theft Auto 6” could see more vehicles than its predecessor. Fans are expecting models such as the Cadillac CTS, Chrysler 200, new Harley-Davidson bikes and beach-themed cars, as per Game & Guide.

Word is that Rockstar Games is planning to include the entire United States as the map for “Grand Theft Auto 6.” Numerous speculations are associated with game’s location, but gamers expect a new city that has not been explored before to be included. Of course it would be other than Liberty City, San Andreas and Vice City.

Other reports suggest that “Grand Theft Auto 6” would include a female protagonist. If this turns out to be true, it will mark history in the franchise. It is obvious that the new installment would not be released without more customization features for the main characters and other improvements such as more jobs and houses, better shops and fuel gauges.

Trusted Reviews cites that First Person Shooter option would be a good idea if it would be introduced in “Grand Theft Auto 6” from the beginning. A PC release could also be expected.
