Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay is the biggest spoiler. The MasterChef host revealed how he messed up a wedding proposal by congratulating the couple even before the man even got to ask the question.

The 49-year-old chef revealed that a couple of weeks ago, he was asked by one of his maître d to go to table as they couple were celebrating their engagement. He then sent over “two nice glasses of champagne” to where they were seated.

When the drink arrived, he went over to give his congratulations. However, it appeared that the man had not asked his girlfriend yet, The Telegraph revealed.

He revealed that the waiter, who is not a Native English speaker, got his tenses mixed up. Fox News further revealed that he may have meant that the couple would be rejoicing a proposal much later that night.

“I was like, how am I going to get out of that?” he said.

Gordon Ramsay, however, did not give more details about how the rest of the evening went.

Meanwhile, the Hell’s Kitchen host got a little bit cheeky when he trolled Bobby Flay’s restaurant in Las Vegas. The two chefs earlier planned on having a cook-off by the end of the year.

Gordon Ramsay went to Flay’s Mesa Grill in Las Vegas last Saturday claiming that the cook-off would be happening at that very moment. The entire thing was caught on video and was posted on Facebook live stream.

When he arrived at Mesa Grill, he asked the restaurant’s chef where the Brunch by Bobby host was. However, Stephanie March’s ex-husband was not there as he was in New York that day, Food Beast reported.

Upon hearing this, Gordon Ramsay called fellow chefs Nobu Matsuhisa and Giada De Laurentiis to say that Flay was a “no-show.”
