Brace yourselves because “Game of Thrones” season 6 is coming.

Sure, fans have known that tidbit for a long time now but the recent release of three new teasers for the upcoming season is proof that “Game of Thrones” season 6 is inching closer.

Wired reports that HBO released three teasers of the show’s upcoming season through the social media platform Twitter. The website details that each clip represents a house banner and the three houses represented are House Lannister, House Stark, and House Targaryen.

The clip for House Lannister shows a red and torn banner of the family crest and a voiceover from the High Sparrow (Jonathan Pryce). In the clip, the High Sparrow can be heard as saying:

“Every one of us is poor and powerless — and yet together, we can overthrow an empire.”

Given that the teaser is brief as it can get, what the High Sparrow is talking about can mean anything. A safe guess is that the new season will feature the downfall of the Lannisters — considering that Tommen is still king and the Sparrow is talking about overthrowing an empire. You can check the video below for yourself.

Another of the teasers released shows a darker, creepier presentation for House Targaryen. With fire burning the House Targaryen crest, a voice in the background speaking of Dothraki tongue, can be quoted as follows:

“You are nobody, the millionth of your name. Queen of nothing.”

Finally, the third of the teasers shows a thunder strike in a snowy night and the banner of House Stark all torn up. In the background, Ramsay Bolton can be heard as saying:

“Winterfell is mine. Come and see.”

According to BGR, the teasers point out that the upcoming season will show the three biggest houses of Westeros “under fire” in season 6.

Fans can witness how this will come into fruition when “Game of Thrones” season 6 premieres on April 24.
