HBO released new character posters of the “Game of Thrones” Season 6 and offered hints on the characters’ future.

Among the posters featured Jon Snow (Kit Harington), Arya Stark (Maisie Williams), Oberyn Martell (Pedro Pascal), Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke), Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner), Cersei Lannister’s (Lena Headey), Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage) and Jaime Lannister (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau).

Each poster has the character as if their face was entombed in the House of Black and White’s Hall of Faces, Entertainment Weekly noted.

The network released 16 posters in total. Check out the rest of the posters at “Game of Thrones” official website or in their Twitter account.

In “Game of Thrones,” the Hall of Faces is a collection of dead people’s faces used by the Faceless Men, the assassins group in the House of Black and White, USA Today wrote.

HBO earlier unveiled teaser video that also showed images of some characters, both alive and dead, from the show’s past and present.

The most notable of all the posters is that of Jon Snow. HBO has been teasing dead – or alive – Snow for quite some time now. The character was brutally murdered by his Night’s Watch brethren last season.

Even “Game of Thrones” actress  Natalie Dormer said Snow is dead. “If you get stabbed that many times, you’re dead, you know. There are some basic medical rules that even apply in Westeros. So Jon Snow is dead right now,” she said.

However, there have been hints that he is really dead but there was also a promo poster for the upcoming season that showed he is very much alive. Aside from that, Harrington was spotted several times on the set of the series.

Well, we all have to wait until season six premieres on April 24 at 9 p.m. on HBO to find out if he is really dead or not.
