The end is near for this instalment of “The Flash.” Actor Grant Gustin, who plays the show’s titular hero, has earlier called this season an “emotional rollercoaster.”  What does the Flash Season 2 finale have in store for fans?

Gustin has spent the last few weeks posting his antics to get “through the end of this insanely emotional finale” on Instagram. He has also posted selfies of himself after his “very emotional, long” days on the show’s set. Just how “insanely emotional” would the Flash Season 2 finale be?

According to, the show’s other stars have also been teasing details of the next few episodes. Among them is Danielle Panabaker, who plays Killer Frost and Dr. Caitlin Snow on the show. The next few episodes are “awesome,” the actress said. “Both of the last two episodes are pretty huge, so I’m excited for those.”

Robbie Amell, who plays Deathstorm and Ronnie Raymond, has also dropped hints. “You guys are in for the sickest last few episodes of this season,” the actor said. “Unbelievable. I’m not going to give you anything, but I was so impressed. They’re so good at what they do.”

What makes the next few episodes “emotional” and “awesome?” According to Design and Trend, it might just be because of Zoom. The upcoming episodes will reportedly show Flash beginning to think he is fast enough to stop Zoom. Could Barry Allen be right? Or could this just lead to disaster?

Zoom is not the only character whose story fans are excited about in the coming episodes. The show’s second to the last episode will include Black Siren’s arrival, after all. “Arrow” star Katie Cassidy will be crossing over to “The Flash” for the role. The finale, meanwhile, is expected to finally reveal the identity of the man in the iron mask.
