Fifth Harmony received a threat where a fan allegedly tried to “cut them.” The incident happened on Wednesday while the girls are staying in London’s five-star Corinthia Hotel.

It may not be the usual death threats that celebrities get once in a while but the members are extremely terrified, reports The Sun. According to the online news hub, the fan was able to hack one of the girl’s iCloud accounts and was able to get their personal mobile numbers.

The all-girl quintet soon received threats right after their personal information were stolen. “This is a legal matter and is now in the hands of the Metropolitan Police,” 5H’s spokesperson confirmed.

An insider told the website that the girls are frightened after the technology breach especially that they are away from their family and friends. Fortunately, the management was able to take immediate action and the culprit was quickly apprehended.

Despite the scare, Fifth Harmony refused the management’s offer to cancel their schedule. But in order to not let this happen again, the team provided extra security while promoting their No. 2 single, “Work from Home.”

“The girls were determined to not let it affect their hectic schedule and put on a brave face during interviews and performances,” the source added. “They refused to let their management cancel any of their diary.”

The website noted that the same incident happened to One Direction member Harry Styles and the “Hello” hitmaker, Adele.

Prior to the incident, Fifth Harmony wowed the audience with their sexy performance of their new single “G-A-Y” in Central London on Saturday. Normani Kordei, Ally Brooke, Dinah Jane-Hansen, Camila Cabello and Lauren Jauregui opted for sexy, military-themed outfits.

As per Mail Online report, the girls “left little to the imagination to say the least.” Meanwhile, their sophomore album 7/27 is set to be released on May 20.
