Tom Hiddleston is probably the most talked about star in the circle in recent times. While rumours of him being the new 007 super spy are making rounds, a new buzz has started to peek over the Hollywood horizon. The gossip reveals that Hiddleston is about to join the cast of “Fast & Furious 8.”
Perhaps we will find fewer British actors right now with a more varied CV than Tom Hiddleston, having played a Marvel villain Loki, a Country music icon Hank William, and buttoned-up doctor Robert Laing. In addition, the 35-year-old has also garnered a huge female fan-base for his leading role in “The Night Manager” as soldier-turned-hotelier-turned-spy Jonathan Pine.
According to Rolling Stone , the ‘High-Rise’ star remembered telling someone he loves “Furious 7” and that someone could hardly believe him. Therefore, he put things in plain words saying: “Dwayne Johnson flexes his arm, breaks open his cast and then says, ‘Daddy has to go to work’ – if you don’t love that, I don’t know how I can appreciate you as a human being.”
Moving on, Digital Spy recently published an article that recommends Hiddleston may just have made a subtle pitch to be in “Fast and Furious” sequels. The digital news site continued that the actor can be cast in future sequels as one of the Shaw brothers (Luke Evans and Jason Statham). It is majorly due to his British origin and Hiddleston has a track record that consists of playing as a villain in some of his films.
Having said that, it should be kept in mind that declaring his admiration for the film or Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson does not indicate Tom Hiddleston is marketing himself for a role in the franchise’s subsequent films. Moreover, “Fast and Furious 8” is currently already in production, so for now, it’s just a wishful thinking for many of the fans. Info Europa concludes.
Nonetheless, watching Tom Hiddleston as another brother to Owen and Deckard Shaw in “Fast and Furious 8, 9 or 10” would be exciting to see.
“Fast and Furious 8” hits the theaters on April 14, 2017!
