The “Harry Potter” spin-off “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” may still be less than a year away but fans do not have to wait too long to get a glimpse of the much-awaited movie.

Hypable reports that Warner Bros., the studio behind “Fantastic Beasts”, recently announced that a trailer for the movie will come out on December 15, Tuesday. According to the website, the announcement trailer will show audiences a first look on another part of the wizarding world that J.K. Rowling has created.

Along with the announcement of the trailer’s release date, Hypable reports that Warner Bros. also rolled out a first synopsis of the film. The website quotes the synopsis by Warner Bros. as follows:

“Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” opens in 1926 as Newt Scamander has just completed a global excursion to find and document an extraordinary array of magical creatures. Arriving in New York for a brief stopover, he might have come and gone without incident…were it not for a No-Maj (American for Muggle) named Jacob, a misplaced magical case, and the escape of some of Newt’s fantastic beasts, which could spell trouble for both the wizarding and No-Maj worlds.”

Meanwhile, MTV shares the announcement trailer tease for “Fantastic Beasts”. As per the website, to create a trailer for the trailer itself is a big deal. The video lasts about 15 seconds and shows the majestic title head of the movie. It also announces the release date for the trailer.
