The filming of DC’s “Justice League” movie has been finally confirmed, which means fans has something definitive to look forward to.

Director Zack Snyder told Entertainment Weekly that “Justice League: Part 1” will officially begin filming in Warner Bros. studio in England on April 11. He also explained the reason for the delay.

Synder, who also directed “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice,” admitted that “Justice League: Part One” is not an easy movie to make. He said Warner Bros has been getting impatient about making the movie. However, he believes the movie needs to be handled with care.

“It was a little bit of an ‘about time’ moment, and I don’t blame [the studio] for feeling that way, because it’s a long time coming. But I do feel like it’s a little bit of a creative hurdle. It seems like an easy thing to do at first glance, the idea that, ‘Oh, we just get the rest of the superheroes in there.’ But you have to [establish] a world where they can exist,” Synder explained.

Snyder earlier teased that fans will see a fully-assembled Justice League in the final scene in “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.”

The “Justice League” movie will shoot at the Warner Bros. Leavesden studios in southeast England and in several other locations around London and in Iceland. Forbes magazine reported that Snyder is already in Europe getting ready for the start of filming on “Justice League.”

Entertainment Weekly noted that the earlier “Justice League” movie was planned in 2007. “Mad Max: Fury Road” director George Miller was supposed to be at the helm, while some of the main characters had been cast at the time including Armie Hammer as Batman, D.J. Catrona as Superman, Megan Gale as Wonder Woman, Common as Green Lantern, and Adam Brody as the Flash. However, the project was shelved due to the 2007-08 Writers Guild strike.

Fans will finally see all these superheroes unite when “Justice League: Part 1” debuts on November 17, 2017.

Meanwhile, the follow-up for “Justice League: Part 1″ is scheduled for release in 2019, following standalone movies for “The Flash” and “Aquaman, “EW added. Both movies will be released in 2018 and both superheroes are also set to appear in the upcoming DC movie “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.”
