Arsenal will host Leicester in Sunday night’s hight voltage EPL clash at the Emirates stadium on Feb. 14, starting 1 PM GMT.
Leicester City will be highly motivated since their last victory came against one of the toughest opponents in the EPL. Leicester beat Manchester City to open a five-point gap between them and the second placed Tottenham Hotspur.
As per the Yibada reports, third placed Arsenal are at 48 points joining Tottenham who are only only ahead because of the goal difference. Manchester City slipped to the fourth place and a draw against Chelsea put Manchester United in the fifth place.
Jamie Vardy has been exceptional this season with 18-goals who is currently leading the EPL charts. “We’re just enjoying it aren’t we? We’re just enjoying the ride,” said Jamie Vardy. “If you start thinking about it too much it’s going to affect you, it’s as simple as that. We’ll just continue to do exactly the same thing we’ve done all season.”
Riyad Mehrez and Kante have been on top form too. But the man who brought them to Leicester has been poached by Arsenal. The Emirates side has roped in the likes of Ben Wrigglesworth who is a highly rated scout who brought several young talents to Leicester.
As per the International Business Times reports, Arsenal will be hoping to bank on their home advantage to close in the gap with the top spot up for grabs. Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Özil are in good form and Arsene Wenger will be hoping to win this one against the Foxes. We expect Leicester City to gain an upper hand in the upcoming encounter but the Gunners are tough to beat at home.
