Walt Disney Studios only just confirmed on Tuesday that Emma Stone will take to the screen as 101 Dalmatians villainess in the live-action reboot Cruella.
Fans might not get surprised by the fact that “The Help” actress will be seen playing an anti-puppy character, because Stone has spent the better part of her career proving she can portray almost any challenging role in a film. Stone is set to curl her lips to redefine the beautiful, and deliciously evil look of Cruella de Vil, in Cruella.
Glenn Close played an epic Cruella de Vil in 1996 live-action version of 101 Dalmatians. This instantly had her admirers wondering how the Arizona-born will look with de Vil’s iconic black-and-white ‘do.
Stone always maintained a daring spirit when it comes to a show-stealing hair-dye job. We have never seen her shying away from experimenting with her hair to make it role-appropriate. Stone has been spotted donning everything from the warm cinnamon of Irrational Man to the reddish-brown waves in “Gangster Squad.” For example, she dyed her natural blonde tresses in dramatic dark chocolate during “Zombieland” in 2009. While the 27-year-old often considered as a redhead, she has actually only worn the sizzling shade for fun and film. Not to miss her hair in “The Help” wild curls. Last but not the least was Stone’s pale-haired beauty in “Spider-man 2.” Now, perfecting an icy stare as evil dog-napper Cruella de Vil the “Aloha” star will sport both the visual equivalent of the absence of color and every single color at once, reports Vogue.
