“Elder Scrolls 6: Skyrim 2” is one title that may have definitely crossed ever ardent gamer’s mind when speculating what the “Elder Scrolls 6″ will actually be bringing for them. It is only natural that avid gamers are now getting restless, since its been almost five years now since “Elder Scrolls 5” rolled out.

But since Bethesda is choosing to stay mum on the topic, rumors and speculations over the fate of the franchise continue to do the rounds. As noted by Neurogadget, the success and the popularity of “Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim” cannot be denied.  It is the very reason why many are guessing that the “Elder Scrolls 6” would indeed be a sequel to Skyrim. While that’s up for debate, many are also predicting that “Argonia” could be zeroed in.

The title “Elder Scrolls 6: Skyrim 2” began to have more takers after Bethesda’s Pete Hines mentioned it in an interview with The Telegraph back when Fallout 4 was being launched, he said, “It’s rare to have franchises like the ones we have and to have people joking about “when is Skyrim 2 coming out?” He added, “The reason they say that is because generally speaking that’s what you’d be getting with another publisher in charge. They’d be spitting out a Skyrim 2 the year after or two years later. That’s just not how we view it. We’re not the sort of publisher that focuses on ‘what’s our 25 titles for 2015’.”

As noted by the site, while details surrounding “Elder Scrolls 6” continue to be shrouded in uncertainty, it is being widely accepted that not a peep will be heard from the studio until 2017. So, one thing is certain, the wait is going to be long and an earlier report on CrossMap spoke in the same lines, when it was suggested that fans shouldn’t expect “Elder Scrolls 6” to roll out anytime before 2019. In the meantime, we are keeping our fingers crossed to hear something from the studio sooner. Keep coming back for more updates, rumors and speculations surrounding “Elder Scrolls 6.”
