It sure does seem like we have been ushered into the era where the good is pitted against the good.
The formula seemed to have hit it off with the opening weekend of “Batman V Superman,” as noted by ScreenRant. Although some reports seem to suggest a drop in ticket sales for the recent movie, in any case, the superhero fans will still be looking forward to another dose of good vs good, set in the pipeline. And naturally so, with a movie as big as “Captain America: Civil War” fans are keeping one eye out for every little information that seeps out.
Now it turns out that Marvel is absolutely certain and is looking forward to how the highly anticipated “Captain America: Civil War” will be received by industry folks. In fact, the studio will be screening the movie about a month early at CinemaCon on April 13.
As shared by the site, “A CinemaCon screening is less about driving buzz among fans or generating positive reviews from critics than it is about assuring theater owners that the film in question is going to make them a lot of money.”
Given the buzz surrounding the movie and the superhero fans hoping that the upcoming feature fulfils expectations, it seems like the “Captain America: Civil War” won’t have much difficulty with scoring box office numbers.
While there has been the constant dose of teasers, trailers, trivia and leaks, we still can’t get enough. So it was natural that hearts were thumping when a new trailer was recently rolled out. Fans finally got to witness Black Widow and Hawkeye going head-to-head. The trailer also had a scene showing Natasha questioning Clint, “We’re still friends, right?” and he replies, “Depends on how hard you hit me.” And of course, as noted by Game Spot, we also get a good glimpse of the web-slinger.
You can now start counting down the days off the calendar since our favourites Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Paul Rudd, Elizabeth Olsen amongst others will soon be gracing the silver-screen. “Captain America Civil War” hits theatres on May 6, 2016.
