There are reports that “Dragon Ball Super” Episode 48 will be about a Goku and Vegeta Fusion that could defeat Black Goku. This article might contain spoilers so read at your own risk.
The title and plot for the said episode are yet to be revealed. But Movie News Guide noted that it will be “thrilling and exciting” because the upcoming episodes mark the arrival of the new arc.
According to show creator Akira Toriyama, the new arc will focus on Future Trunks who will arrive in the anime series on Season 11. The highly-acclaimed showrunner also hinted that the villain will sport a white-colored hair, notes Design N Trend.
But will Goku and Vegeta use the Fusion technique to win against the enemy? Viewers may have to find out when the new arc arrives on June 5 in FujiTV. Meanwhile, the proposed titles and plot have already made their way to the Internet.
The official title is speculated as “New Chapter! An Obscure Enemy Appears,” notes Christian Today. Meanwhile, other titles include “A New Chapter! A Black New Enemy” and “A new development begins! The boy returns to our time.”
On the other hand, the plot for “Dragon Ball Super” Episode 47 reads as: “After the tournament against Universe 6, Trunks returns from the future to find Goku and the others. In other “Dragon Ball Super” news, rumor has it the series could only last from 72 to 100 episodes only. This is based on retailer listings of the DVD/Blu-ray sets as noted by Amazon Japan.
As seen on the website, the next three boxes include the first set the features episodes 37-48, the second one with episodes 49-60 and the last one with episodes 61-72. But since the ending of the Future Trunks arc is still unknown, it might last up to a hundred.
