So what’s in the trailer? Movie Pilot noted that Beatrice Prior (Tris) and Tobias Eaton (Four) will be cared for by the Bureau of Genetic Welfare upon going beyond “the fence.” Tris and Four will be responsible for saving Chicago- which was threatened to be annihilated.
This could sound like it has nothing to do with the novel’s version, but we still need to wait for the whole movie before we can conclude anything.
Originally, the novel ends with Tris sacrificing herself for the greater good. Should the trailer suggests a different plot, will Four and Tris have a happy ending? Some fans hope so.
It has been noted as well in a previous article that a part of “Divergent” readers and watchers filed for a petition in Change.org to let Tris live in the end.
However, the author, along with the protagonists, stood with a statement that Tris’ fate is unstoppable and is essential to the development of the film’s plot.
The debate about “Divergent: Allegiant” plot might not stop from here. Watch the trailer below and see for yourself.
