“Dancing With The Stars” definitely opened some doors for Julianne Hough. The dancer has been pretty successful outside the dance competition show and now she’s adding co-host and creative producer for Miss USA 2016 to her already full-packed resume.
According to Just Jared, Julianne Hough will join Emmy Award Nominee Terrence “J” Jenkins on stage this Sunday, June 5 on FOX from the new T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas for the much-awaited Miss USA 2016.
“I admire and share The Miss Universe Organization’s commitment to celebrating young women for more than just their physical beauty and I feel fortunate to be a part of encouraging and uplifting them to make a positive difference in the world,” Julianne said in a statement. “I’m also excited to contribute what I’ve learned in over a decade in front of the camera and behind the scenes as a performer and choreographer on live television to the Miss USA broadcast.”
This new hosting gig for Miss USA 2016 is certainly one of the best news that Julianne Hough has gotten so far. But the best thing that ever happened to her was her engagement to Hockey star, Brook Laich, of the Toronto Maple Leafs,
After announcing the exciting news on Instagram last year, Julianne Hough played coy, hiding her left hand at appearances and keeping her engagement ring covered. But it seems that the 27-year-old is having a hard time to keep a huge rock under wraps for long.
Hough’s hubby-to-be worked with celebrity jewelry designer Lorraine Schwartz on the custom-made, over 5-carat diamond ring, which features an exquisite oval diamond.
“Brooks called Lorraine because he wanted to find the most perfect diamond that was truly beautiful and shined so bright — just like Julianne,” a source told PEOPLE. “Brooks and Lorraine worked together for months to find a ring that reflected Julianne’s grace and elegance. It’s very clean, very elegant, very beautiful and the diamond is the highest quality. It just shines gorgeous.”
